Tell us a little about yourself and Graceful Redesigns.
I’m married to a wonderful, loving husband for nearly 10 years! We have three adult children, two twin grandchildren, almost ready to celebrate their 1st birthday, and one due in December. This is by far the most treasured time of my life!
I realize each day is a gift of time and the family God gives us is priceless. I desire to pass this on as I partner with my clients so they can create spaces and memories with their families and friends.
In 2013, I founded Graceful Redesigns to pursue my lifetime dream and transitioned from a 30-year career in the corporate world. Interior design has always been my gift and passion.
It brings joy to my soul when my clients see their homes transformed, including even one or two small changes they couldn’t have imagined! Whether it’s a home renovation, refresh, or remodel, I treasure the gift of partnering with my clients to create the spaces they’ve only dreamed of.

We are a full-service design studio and member of NARI and KBIS with a focus on home renovations, furnishings and selections, defining your space with timeless style, beauty and function while creating memories and serene, peaceful and comfortable spaces.
Do you handle residential & commercial projects? If so, what are your preferences and why?
Graceful Redesigns’ primary focus and preference is residential projects. The residential projects enable me to connect directly with the homeowner and reflect their personality and lifestyle in the design. Forging lasting relationships as I create and implement a design for their home and families is a priceless gift and the ultimate reward!
I also recently had the opportunity to complete a million-dollar commercial build-out in Dublin (Bridgepark) for a valued client whom I had partnered with on their residential project. Since I had an established relationship with the client, I accepted the challenge! My client and his 35 employees were very pleased with the industrial collaborative workspace which perfectly aligned with their vision.
Can you describe your interior design process for residential clients?
-Discovery call, initial consultation (Project Scope, budget, timeline, recommend Design package)
-Review budget, timeline and design package; proposal & design contract
-Schedule consultation for selections; procurement as needed /related to project timeline
-Ongoing follow-up and communication
-Installation & vendor resources for any issues
What would you suggest a homeowner do to prepare for working with a designer?
Establish a project scope; prepare a project budget; establish a project timeline/start date + 2 months.
As a designer what is the best part about working with a trusted contractor?
Peace of mind and confidence that they are a reliable and trustworthy partner and will provide my client with superior craftsmanship and effective and open communication. The confidence they will take ownership of any issues that arise and provide timely resolutions and follow-up.
What is something new you’ve learned recently-either for your profession or personally?
Personally: Importance of taking time each morning to “Be Still” with God so I can be filled up to pour out my best into family, friends and work and have clear direction for my day.
What is a comment you have received from a client that you love?
(From a client’s 10- yr. old daughter when she finally jumped into their new pool) “it was so worth the wait!”

Tell us a little bit about your experience working with NJW Renovations Unlimited?
It was an outstanding experience working with Todd, Cooper and Chuck and the team at NJW Renovations Unlimited. I brought NJWRU “to the table” for this project as I had a longstanding relationship with my client. Todd immediately treated me with the utmost respect as a member of the team as the designer and included me throughout every design decision and detail.
I appreciated the weekly status meetings that helped keep the project on track and surface and resolved problems in a timely manner. In addition, I welcomed their expertise and partnerships regarding exteriors, pool and landscaping.
Todd and Cooper typically always found a way to get things done and make things happen – “no” was rarely mentioned as an option.
I am extremely grateful and blessed to have partnered with NJW Renovations Unlimited and their team to create these stunning spaces as they truly reflect my client’s personality and lifestyle.
