bathroom remodel

In a bathroom remodel colors are linked with emotions; light colors like yellow and blue can evoke feelings of happiness and optimism, while darker hues like black and gray may convey sadness or melancholy. This connection is evident in our language, with phrases like ‘a dark and dreary day’ or ‘a bright and cheerful smile.’

In interior design, however, these associations can be more complex. In this bathroom remodel project, we blended bright and airy colors with darker wood and hardware to create a striking contrast that feels anything but gloomy. Instead, the combination exudes a sense of warmth, joy, and comfort.

Bathroom Remodel: Double Vanity Dreams Do Come True

Bathroom Remodel Sinks

Sharing a bathroom with a partner can be easier and more comfortable with the addition of a double vanity, which can greatly improve the overall experience. Our design provides ample storage, ensuring each person has their own dedicated space. The dark cherry cabinets below, along with extra storage between the sinks and mirrors, clearly separate the two spaces. White marble countertops and light seafoam wall color create a striking contrast that beautifully complements the dark wood. Black hardware on the drawers matches the sinks and mirrors, adding a touch of elegance. A pop of color from the upper glass cabinet door and decorative plants brings a personal touch to the overall design.

Natural Light for a Bright, Uplifting Space in Your Bathroom Remodel

Imagine waking up to the gentle glow of natural light streaming through a spacious shower. Tired and groggy, you step into the warm water and feel instantly refreshed. The large, frosted window illuminates the white subway tile, creating a bright and energizing atmosphere.

While this is the lightest part of the design, the rich contrast is also present, with the light blue subway tile lining the wall with the window. Black hardware for the door and shower maintains a consistent look throughout the bathroom.

Let’s Talk Bathroom Tile

The thoughtful selection of tiles in this design creates a harmonious blend of dark and light tones while adding a personality touch. The shower floor features a variety of beige pebble tiles, including gray shades that complement the marble shower divider and patterned bathroom floor tile, ensuring a seamless transition.

As you enter the bathroom, the patterned blue tile immediately draws the eye, adding a unique touch of style. These colors blend seamlessly with the wall color, blue subway tile, darker wood, and light whites and grays in the space. The contrast between these elements adds depth and visual interest, enhancing the overall beauty of the design.
