As your Columbus, Ohio contractor, NJW loves finding innovative ways to use traditional materials within your home. Occasionally it can be a challenge, but it is challenge we are always up for!
We believe that when doing a complete renovation and addition, it is often important to the clients that the initial structure and some of the home’s original wood be preserved. To accomplish a cohesive aesthetic, it is important touse traditional materials in innovative ways!
One such example would be to create a pattern of whatever the material may be throughout the home to make it more cohesive. If you enjoy the aesthetic of reclaimed barn wood you can do many different things repeated in the home to unify the house. Obviously this applies to any material you would like to preserve in the home (brick, rope, molding, etc.)
We are always conscious of preserving the original intent of the home; we believe when doing your renovation or addition you can simultaneously create plenty of drama by integrating fresh design concepts along with those traditional design elements.
Our goal is to have a finished product that is true to the original house yet presented in a fresh way—it’s a remodel, not a complete transformation. Contact us today to see how we can help bring your ideas to life!
We currently build in Westerville, Worthington, Whitehall, Upper Arlington, Powell, Pickerington, New Albany, Lancaster, Hilliard, Gahanna, Dublin, Bexley, Columbus and all of Central Ohio.
